At the 2022 NODA Performance Awards, Teesside Musical Theatre Company once again were recognised for the quality of the production and for the lead role of Shrek played by Dan Matuszak. Below is an extract from the NODA website giving details of the awards.

This actor delivered excellent comic timing in this role, great interaction with his fellow stage members and a confident delivery to the audience’s delight– the award goes to Daniel Matuszak for his character Shrek with Teesside Musical Theatre Company
Musical Production Award
What a production I didn’t think you could get as many actors on stage at the same time. The attention to detail was exceptional, colourful set and the costumes were fantastic, from the unbelievable dragon and I loved the gingerbread man – the award goes to Teesside Musical Theatre Company for Shrek
